Horizon mod
A small example of why i love this mod.

I was just recently going to vault 95 with Cait and decided to experiment at the entrance so i could compare my own gameplay experience, in vanilla i simply waltzed in taking out the guards and robots without too much trouble, with Horizon installed i first tried doing the same thing, and quickly got destroyed.

My second attempt i tried taking them out from a distance with a sniper rifle, i got a couple of the human guards but was quickly charged down by the assaultrons who turned me into mince meat.

Third attempt i went with the tactical approach, as you have to do a lot when using this mod, i looked for a good sniping position that only had a couple of paths that the enemy could reach me by, i set up a campsite using campsite mod - https://www.nexusmods.com/fallout4/mods/11734 and slept till night, under cover of rain and darkness i sneakily placed a couple of bottlecap mines on the paths, got into sniping position and popped a psycho jet, shot three of the gunners in the head while the assaultrons came for me, triggering one of my mines which killed one of them and blew a leg of the other, i then finished that one of with my lazer rifle as it slowly crawled towards me, felt so satisfying.

I highly recommend this mod, it has turned FO4 for me from a pretty good game into a great one,and not just because of the better combat, it is a complete overhaul and changes and adds many things, details on its nexus page - https://www.nexusmods.com/fallout4/mods/17374

Well. Horizon is complex and there's a huge lack of organization and user friendly to find things on it. If you take for example Sim Settlements mods (that is a totally different one, but complex at the same level), you have a LOT of tutorials and explanation along the way. For Sim Settlements you can learn everything about it just by reading the in-game tutorials for each menu that you enter.
IF you want combat, use War of Commonwealth and you could had a high chance of wake up during your night on camp. lol
Patrolling enemies in War of Commonwealth is totally great and makes the combat itself a lot better and brings a lot of "life" to the commonwealth.
I tried Horizon for hours. I liked the way of health management but dislike the cargo bots and the "lore" friendly idea of fast travel. In my opnion Fallout 2287 - Nuclear Winter is a lot better overhaul than Horizon.
