I just did so with an irradiated combat shotgun and was a little surprised. I predicted that the 50 to be split across all pellets equally in the same way plasma infused and freezing do, and used a short barrel for the higher spread to make this easier to see....
I expected to see varying values up to 50, but every shot where at least one pellet made contact caused the same 45.... I can account for the value not being 50 as a magazine gave permanent rad resistance, but that it was independent of range or pellet count came as a surprise. It still doesn't make it worth using though.
On the laser you can even make automatic shot-pistols
Did not know that, Thanks.
I agree but I'm working with what I have. Not what I would like to have. :)
I have seen gunner captains use stimpacks, lowering their max hitpoints seems an effective way to take them out, 20 bullets is a kill reguardless how how tough or how much healing they have. The weapon doesn't even need to be a good one a little 38 is enough. Add the perk and it drops to 10. A fast firing zip gun with rad damage seems like a good human boss killer.
