Its not easy to answer is why no one answered. There are some CC items often free that can be used, keep checking. There are also mods.

Look into modding yourself and anything is possible as well.

I see though from what i have seen it shows the decals in my workshop crafting but for some reason it says need level one BOS decal perk So that is why i am so confused. I will look into it some more see if i can figure it out. I mean i been modding for awhile and use mod orginizer as it seems to always work hella better and i have little to no issues with mods stead of maybe crashing if its a broken mod thats about it.

A little late with the answer...but might help someone. You need to find the stencil for the decal you want to make. For instance, I wanted to make a Vault-Tec 111 decal but I didn't have the required perk for it and was unable to make the decal due a lack of requirements. Once I acquired the stencil (it was located in Vault 111) I was able to make the decal. I checked my inventory and I was also able to make BOS decals that matched the stencils I had found laying around in the Prydwen...but only the ones for which I had stencils.

If anyone sees this I used console command and just added the perk all you got to do is just type in “help stencil 0” without quotations and the perks should show if yours doesn’t show like the minutemen type with quotations help “Stencil - Minutemen” 0 That worked for me

It would be really nice if you could refrain from resurrecting four year-old topics.

Why ? If it's still as valid as 4 years ago ? And is your pointing out not feeding into the same algorithms ?

I'm probably having a major misconception about internet forums, but I never understood the sudden rise of self proclaimed policemen fighting 'necroing' since 1999 or whenever Reddit became a thing.

First because the steam forum rules actually tell you not to.

Second, because around these parts sometimes a) the thread is not being bumped with any valid info, b) the thread is joke-bumped, c) the thread was garbage in the first place, d) there are much NEWER and CURRENT threads to bump instead, and e) sometimes the info is so old that it is not valid any longer and may confuse others looking for said current info.

There are plenty of reasons not to necro. Most of which are "look at the dates and find the newest instead". digging up old posts I don't even know HOW people are doing it, since the newest posts are supposed to show up first, and surely they should be the ones that people bump... but no.

the guy crying about people still responding to a helpful post is ironically banned ahahahahhaah
Fun fact:
This is **STILL** valid and helped with my problem.
Anti-Necro ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ be damned, there shouldn't be new posts made about old issues if the old issues are solved in a past post that got buried under 1000 other things and/or lost to time.

Steam's guidelines on forum necro'ing are based on the presumption that after some number of years or other figure of time, an update has fixed or changed the issue. If the issue hasn't changed, or there have been no updates that alter the solution then there's no reason NOT to necro a relevant post with the solution right there.

May this forum walk the earth as the mighty lich, because while it may be dead-on-its-feet... It's still an actual answer to a problem that still exists. :steamhappy:
