"Accidentally" killed the requisition synth & the synth in the institute cafeteria (PS4)

they've been dead for a while now and for a short bit only the requisitions synth would respawn but as of recently, both of their bodies are on the floor, it's too late to load a previous save, help?

You fire in their general direction with a Fatman and they happen to stand too close to the blast by coincidence!

And this kids, is why you learn weapon safety. You don't point a weapon at things you don't want to destroy.

Don't you have bigger problems, like the whole Institute going hostile?

Don't you have bigger problems, like the whole Institute going hostile?
Or maybe they don't care if a couple synths are "accidentally" destroyed.

i got bored, stealth-killed them and then saved without realizing, besides, most settlements and factions forgive your violent behavior if you run away then come back a few in-game days later #logic

This is why most of use have multiple running saves we cycle through. So when we do silly things like this we can go back.

Console Saving is your Best Friend. Never EVER Rely on Quick Saves or Auto Saves. They over-write themselves.

i don't use multiple saves because i fear i may accidentally overwrite something important, so i just go with one save throughout the whole game and make disposable quicksaves

Making an enemy out of a main faction kinda makes the 2 day hostility period last quite a bit longer. Just deal with the consequences, can't do much now. If you play this game a lot you'll start a new game again eventually anyway

oh man, that's not good because quick saves over-write themselves everytime you use it.

Get into the habit of using Console Saves. It will save your sanity.
Open the Console and type
Save Save_Name
or
Save "Save Name"
The quotes are needed if you don't want Underscores between the words in the save name.

Save I_AM_BORED_1
and gone back to it after you're don't stealth killing

yeah, but going with only 1 save is why we're here now. Maybe time to re-evaluate only using 1 save?

if we're being honest i really only needed them alive because i couldn't find heavy/sturdy armor, but now i have two complete sets of each so all is well ¯\_(ツ)_/¯
