Fallout 4 4K resolution issue.
Does this game work on 4096x2160 resolution? There`s a way to get it?

Just change your ini file.... l\Documents\My Games\Fallout4

Fallout4Prefs.ini

iSize H=1080
iSize W=1920

Doubling these would be better than widescreen its alway been a little buggy, I hope those mods work, if not wide for this ratio.

Thanks a lot man it works well *_* :steamhappy:
The game is optimized for 1600 x 900 or 1920 x 1024. Nothing Higher because Ultra Resolutions aren't widely used because of the cost. Plus, you'll not get higher than 60Hz refresh unless your monitor expressly states it. Most are locked at 60Hz at 4k resolution.
Best you can hope for is 2560 x 1440

As it is, you need to lock your refresh and fps to 59 to avoid headaches from the Physics going nutts, and from getting a lot of screen tearing.
Some others may have workarounds, and I do know there's a mod on Nexus for a Ultra Wide resolution fix.

Umm I did what exeaircore wrote me, but suddenly the game stopped working even though I have 4096x2016 on Fallout4prefs.ini file =(
You can try one of these mods, but remember what I just wrote.
Widescreen Fix https://www.nexusmods.com/fallout4/mods/274/
Ultra Wide Patches https://www.nexusmods.com/fallout4/mods/9264/

Read the Posts sections of each. They will show any problems with the mods. The second one is from 2016 and the first is from 2017

If you are using an Nvidia RTX card (I'm guessing a RTX 2080) turn off weapon debris, this setting is known to cause crashing on the new cards and problems with Pascal cards.

Thanks, almost forgot about that. I use AMD so I can't always remember things about the NVidia cards.
