I killed bos members at the police station
I did not like how they spoke to me and I throw grenades upon them, I couldn't jack paladin armor but that's ok
I am curious to know how badly will this affect my future gameplay?
should i load last game save?

The BoS will hate you forever, so you won't be able to do their quest line and they will send patrols after you and your settlement once their main force arrives in the commonwealth.
If you don't want to deal with that, you should reload your last save.

This affects the game story HEAVILY. They usually have note: "YOU ARE NOW THE ENEMY OF THE BROTHERHOOD OF STEEL" when you attacked them (I've done it before and reload the save lol) Most quests will fail.

If you dont really want Brotherhood of Steel to be your ally, it's okay.

Altough I recommend you play Brotherhood's questline as it's most interesting and coolest one. Their patrols will also attack you (I guess) so better reload last save.

So this is the very first role playing style game you have ever played? You should learn something about how they work before you continue.

thank you guys

Picking a fight with a faction is perfectly valid.
As long as you don't mind the complications.:steamhappy:

I call that as a good start. While I never kill those guys in Police Station initially, I usually end up butchering BOS anyway.

On the right path you are, young padawan. Slaughter them all you must! :steamhappy:

No Dance Pilgrim vs. the World fight here, please. That was was just a joke, related to OP's choices and my own playing style. ;)

You're an enemy of the BOS if you don't work directly with them anyway, as you can destroy them with the Minutemen if they're hostile, and have to destroy them if you're with the Railroad or Institute.

This does not break the game though, afaik you can progress normally - you simply will have one more type of enemies to deal with.

LOL if you did this IRL, I bet Police would chase you on sight/recognition for a long time afterward...

Sad/Heavy consequence to happen in the game, but I like how the game handles it :Fury:

Just watch out for vertibird attacks in the future as the BOS will now target you as well as the raiders etc. they already target. Also if you have settlements the BOS will now be part of the list of possible attackers when one is attacked.

I find the game has a strange way of handling such things if we take out a few at that station an entire faction has shoot on sight orders concerning us for the rest of the game meanwhile shoot a few at a settlement or in DC flee for a few days come back and they act like nothing happened.

Well vertibirds are basically an easy looting opportunity, once you get a half-decent weapon.

They are so fragile.:steamsad:

Reminds me of when I accidentally shot a Whiterun guard in Skyrim and was forever being chased by Whiterun guards after that.
Needless to say I rerolled my character and started again.

I like how Bethesda is consistently unforgiving across its games. lol

I believe that Faction members react this way, whereas 'normal NPCs' do not...

[Or do you mean shooting Faction members/soldiers in those locations? Interesting, if so.]

I and my follower have entered a firefight between the BOS and whoever on occasion since I am too impatient to stand back and watch until it's over and then collect the loot. Accidently get in the way of a stray BOS bullet not meant for me, my follower retaliates and in moments I am the subject of a full all out assault. Running away until I am safely beyond their attention I fast travel back to the police station with scribe and grumpy and they treat me as usual. I accidently did this at a scripted quest fight and had to reload. Even though the police station was good to me those quest guys weren't anymore.

It's just a game. You can do whatever you want. Like others have said, it would be best to play the game from different perspectives.
