(Vortex) New mods not appearing in Plugins list.

Ever since I updated Fallout 4 Vortex stopped putting deployed mods into the Plugins list. I'll download and deploy the mod but it's missing from the plugins and won't work in-game. I have the newest version of Vortex and mods are set up to download on the same hard drive. Examples of thees mods are Place Anywhere and Levelup Menu EX.

Yes. When I manually downloaded Place Anywhere it worked. However it'd be pain to download every mod by just putting it in the data folder and probably dangerous, too.

If you mean Place Everywhere and Levelup menu. Those wwork without esp, Esl or ESM file, Those mods have only have scripts, dll and other files and work fine.

There are change that if you steam is in C drive and programfiles folder, there is permission issue with windows to install dll files to protected folder.

that's because place everywhere and levelupmenuex don't have plugins to be loaded in plugins list. they're F4SE dll plugins.

So then are they required to be downloaded manually? I used Vortex to download them the first time and it worked fine, but when I updated them they stopped working.

how did you update place everywhere? heading to nexusmods.com and download a newer version? or updated it directly from vortex?

When I clicked update on Vortex it sent me to it's Nexus mod page. There I just downloaded via Nexus and replaced the old one.
