POWER ARMOR AI?!

I want you guys to tell me which power armor AI is the best, either the Creation Club one or the Patriot mod. I like the Patriot one better because you can insert the chip into any suit of Power Armor, and it's also free.

Truthfully, PA sucks. I collect suits, repair them, and display them. Sorry, not helpful, I know.

watch oxhorn on youtube, he has a video going into detail about the CC mod and the 2 free powerarmor companion mods.

i would say get the patriot mod if you dont wanna buy the one from CC, but if you have some extra cash get the CC one because its an extra companion( you can have 2 at the same time, like any companion+PA companion).

Free mods already can let you have multiple companions if that's something you want to break the game with so might as well use those instead if that's the only reason.

Especially as actual companions have story and lore to them.

It depends on what other mods you use but they should work fine in most cases.

Make sure your other mods are not causing issues.

I really like them. It's like almost Mister Gutsy companion. Too bad Automatron robots don't have Gutsy voice.

agree but I don't even go that far, I don't even bother with them,

at least 90 - 95% of the game can be completed with standard armor, I only had to use the hazmat suit in glowing sea and a few other areas

I do feel like it's worth it to say...

I'm playing my "second run" (I never beat the game originally!! Got to the end and thought.. eff all 3 factions, i dont like any of them.. and stopped playing) in survival mode with a rather huge bevy of mods. Including one that allows you to have Dogmeat + a companion.

I don't think it's imbalanced at all. Vanilla FO4 bothered me greatly that you could invest points into dogmeat's specific perk but.. it's almost like losing those levels IF YOU TOOK A DIFFERENT COMPANION. And apparently (I'm taking the word of the modder on this) there's //comments from the coders about how the game was originally intended to allow you dogmeat + companion, but they couldn't decide whether or not to do it.. ended up not, but left the toggle in the code there for modders.

After watching Oxhorn's video, I hate to say it, but the CC seems more polished. I haven't purchased any CC, but I'm thinking about getting the sentinel mod. I'm probably wrong, but with CC there'd probably be less issues.

Between the AI and Patriot nexus mod, I like the AI mod more.

In Oxhorn's video, he had both the CC mod and AI mod, so he could have 4 PA suits on the battlefield, plus a companion 😋
