Brown Face glitch

So I recently bought Fallout 4 started a new playthrough and started modding it almost immediatly because I had experience from other Bethesda games (mainly FalloutNV wich is from obsidian but uses the sam engine as all Bethesda Fallout/TES titles) I installed about 140 mods and started playing. Then i noticed that my character (and some Followers) had the Brown face bug. I looked for fixes but none of the mods worked. So then I uninstalled every mod and still had the sam results. So I would appreciate some help.

P.S. I have CBBE and Valkyr Female Face and Body Textures installed.

It happens very frequently after quick saving/quick loading. Quick loading twice in a row usually fixes it for me.

Valkyr is known to be especially prone for this. If fix does not work, then try using vanilla resolution for face textures, or entirely another mod.

I have tried that mod before, I'll try to reinstall it but I need Valykr and CBBE for the Fusion City Rising mod because the models were mad with those 2 mods and ill crash when i dont use them

Yeah, same here. I still get this glitch back in Skyrim, sometimes even black face. Usually reloading clears it up.

Author actually recommends not to use Valkyr body texture.

Neither body or face has ESP files included to them, so they can't be set as masters for the mod.

I fixed it. I downloaded this mod again https://www.nexusmods.com/fallout4/mods/21907/? and reinstalled it again and now the faces are nolonger Brown/Black. Still thatnk you everybody for trying to help me.

For future reference this might help. Whenever I get brown face I usually console slm and toggle the hair option and that would remove the brown face.

I was having the same issue and after doing some research I disabled the High Res Texture pack in my DLC list and that has fixed it for me.

I actually encountered a new version of thsi the other day, was kinda weird.

It happened during the rain and it was only the face area and not everything neck up.

hey im a bit late, still having the issue, rusty face doesnt work, a blackface fix does work, but it just super whitens face textures to the point you cant see it really

Honestly I give up on trying to resolve or prevent this.

Originally it was said this only occurs using the HD texture DLC during conversations. Well I stopped using that months ago and it still happens.

Then I noticed that sometimes it appears when it rains.

I tried find mods to fix it and they all require the HD dlc, wtf. On top of that the mod fixes only seem to work with most "common conversations."

For example I got about 50 raiders in Starlight Drive In. I walk in and maybe half of them will have the brownface bug.

At first it looked like females only, which makes sense since most CBBE type mods focus on female and ignore males. Then yesterday I noticed a bunch of the males had it.

I almost want to say it is some sort of random graphics issue just like the stupid overpasses and their randomly @#$%ed up textures.

When it starts annoying me and only I am infected I just do the SLM 14 in console and fix it. If I see it on a bunch of settlers then I just save the game and exit to desktop.
