Kill the raiders in Corvega Assembly Plant
Hey!

Whats up with that place? Its like my third quest and its sooooooo hardcore.. Kill a raider, 10 come to kill me... I had to try 30 times... and I think I killed about 30 enemies andt theres more omg!

Damn... without mentioning I had to walk for 20 minutes to get there... and the ghouls and super mutants I met on the way...

All the dog does is get shot and reveal my position to the guys with plate armor and the turrets that show up all over the place :S

And the best weapon I have is a 10 mm pisto... and its allmost out of ammunition too.

Geez, this game is pure hardcore... Im just level 3 u know :S

Am I suposed to forget quests and just roam around exploring the world? Klling an army of raiders is no joke...

I usually clean up Sanctuary first. Make 20 beds and redo a couple houses. Usually level 5 by the time I'm done with all that. Then go to concord. Then do Starlight drive Inn, clear lexington a little at a time, then do Corvega taking the back entrance through the sewer. But yeah, sometimes it's best to just wander around and take in the scenery.

Clean up sanctuary then build some ♥♥♥♥. Building gives you xp.
Especially if you use wood to build walls, then tear down the walls to get some wood back to make walls.

Yeah, I wanted to make bets too but didnt have cloth... nor steel.
Hey, can I break weapons and armor in other stuff such as crafting materials like these?

Also, if I store stuff in those work benches, will they eventually disapear? Or are they safe to use?

Wowwww build walls?? Really??

Yeah I remember, this mission was pretty hard and insane for low level but I managed to clean the Assembly with a lot of sneak lol But the worst for me was the mission where we have to retake the Castle. Plan to have a lots of ammo and stimpaks before going, I was sooo not ready the first time...

The farther south or east that you go, the more dangerous things are. If you're careful about exploring in and around Sanctuary at first, it isn't too difficult to be level 6 or 7 by the time you head for your first big trip south to Corvega.

You don't need to forget quests, just plan carefully based on where they send you.

As for building in Sanctuary (or any settlement), you can break down almost anything into raw materials while in Settlement mode, so getting steel, wood, fabric, etc is pretty easy if you go through some of the abandoned houses just scrapping things.

Settlement mode???

One good idea is to explore everything in the area as you head there.. use melee for dogs/roaches/etc that you can kill easily.

And you can scrap armor and weapons for materials, the scrapper perk helps with rare stuff from doing so.

There are two buildings with interiors near the museum that have good loot and supplies to bring back to sanctuary. And a couple of the open houses have safes and loot as well.

Get the 308 pipe rifle in Concord, snipe off the bridge across from the plant then enter through the bottom door (main entrance) sneak and peek through the rest of the building. 38 Auto pistol works well along with the 10mm and if you still have ammo left for the 308.
Watch out for grenades.

So the lore reason for there bing so many raiders is because the head raider leader for that gang had mama murphey for a mentor and wanted to get the sight like she had so he hunkered down with his gang in the Corvega Plant and went to town taking all the chems he could find. He came to the conclusion that having the sight was genetic and he didnt have the gene so he got a ton of new recruits to try chems on to see if anyone had the sight. It's mentioned in a log that one of his scouts saw a carvan of people, one of which had a cowboy hat (preston) and a fortune teller woman (mama murphey). So he sent a team ahead and one of his lieuteants to Concord to grab her.

So thats where you come in. The raiders you first engage in Concord are probably the preliminary scouts (about 15 of them). Once you get the power armor and go outside you actually fight Gristle and the escort crew (about 15 of them). So you actually end up killing like a fourth to one half of the entire radier force from Corvega.

Anyways, if you want tips. Yeah, just ignore it for now if you want, but you also have power armor, take your minigun and find the secret sewer entrence, it has way less enemies and you can fight from the inside out.

The sewer entrence is on the outskirts of Lexington on the perimiter of Corvega Plant

if you choose the right special stats and starting perks you can make it to level 10 - 15 range before you even leave sanctuary just by randomly building stuff

I love Dogmeat. It's good for the people of Sanctuary to have a good dog to help defend against attacks. But I won't bring him with me - I sneak all the time, and he ruins that for me.

Also get a level in gun nut and make sure you have a silencer - there's no downside to silencing every weapon you can get ahold of.

On my first game this place teach me to hate grenades. But it is full of usefull building stuff and lots of enemies. Ps low level ghouls are not worth ammunition, you can get them killed with a meele wapon without skill (unless you start play hard+).
And alway use a upgraded improwapon at beginning, with some upgrade it makes nearly same dmg like the 10 mm pistol, but you have much more ammunition for it as every low lv raider give you some form it.
