P.S.: It's the best way to kill a mirelurk queen xD
You could try setting the game to Easy if it's too difficult without the most OP weapon imaginable? ;-)
I always play on the hardest difficulty, playing on other difficulties is out of question hahaha
I don't know exactly why I like to play without mods, maybe it's the idea that some mods can destroy my experience with the game that scares me ahaha
There is some scripting mixed in that's intended to lock out legendary effects from appearing if they've been used recently, so if you're farming for a particular legendary effect and it doesn't seem to turn up at all, you can try going around and grabbing a few legendary items with different effects before trying again.
If you're already getting both the Explosive effect and the Combat Shotgun, but haven't seen them together, it's just a matter of luck.
I think that explains a lot, because I get a explosive double barrel shotgun a few days before when I started to farm the explosive combat shotgun. So what I need to do is just grab a few other legendary itens to make the explosive prefix to appear?
If I remember well, I think I found four or five legendaries after I got the explosive double barrel shotgun. I'll try to find some videos on youtube about good farming spots to achieve that 10 random legendaries :)
