Stop updating this game!
So tired of all this creation club nonsense breaking my game. Move on Bethesda, time to get back to work making a new game and leave this one alone. Purposefully breaking our game every so often isn't going to inspire us to play that garbage fire fallout 76.

The patch was to add framework tools so modders can use the virtual workshops.

If this is not your first update, then YOU should know how to stop the updates. Sigh. Modding is at YOUR own risk. Learn how. Stopping the updates is so easy. :)
The update did not break your game. Your mods did.

Broke my game is what it did.

You broke your game because you allowed it to update.

I haven't modded my game so why is my game crashing?

If there are pennies to be made then they'll keep updating.

I know how to prevent the updates, that's not the issue. The issue is the wilful attempt at sabotage for an outdated game.

WE CAN'T STOP THE UPDATES!
seriously. valve took that option away years ago.

also when bethesda makes an update to these games that breaks the mods.
and even if it isnt his first update, this isnt something thats inherently obvious on how to stop even if he could.

Yes, because bethesda just hates you SO much that they're dedicating time and money to updates SPECIFICALLY to destroy mods. Because they hate mods. For some reason. I'm sure they stand to gain something...... This whole idea definitely makes sense. Definitely.

It's easy enough to prevent the application from accessing the internet by means of the windows firewall. I also have nearly 400 mods, a lot of which I merged myself. I'm not new to this but it is the principle of the matter. Bethesda no longer gets my patronage.

You musn't know business very well if you think the creation club wasn't designed for this purpose, at least in part. Don't be naive.

If you use mods, that is not true. Not at all. Use the SE launcher.

If you do not use mods than it is much harder. But the game usually does not stop working after an update without mods. This time Bethesda may have really mucked up and the update did break unmodded games. That is what is being said. Time will tell.

okay then. explain how then. and don't tell me to google it. that is not an answer.
that is being lazy and rude. its worse than asking a teacher how to spell a specific word, and then saying look it up in the dictionary...
