Overboss Power Armor + Problem Solver gives ridiculous damage boost

Problem Solver deals 1000+ damage per shot. All I have to do is just walk around enemy a few seconds with Problem Solver in my hands and then oneshot enemy.

My guess would be that the Overboss Power Armour is somehow ticking hits for the Furious effect on Problem Solver.

Yes it seems so. It deals energy damage to nearby enemies. Damage boost will lasts a few seconds and it increases damage for all weapons.
