"Prepared for the Future" Help?

I completed Nuclear Family and the achievement popped as normal.
Prepared for the Future, however, did not pop.

Until I exit the game, then, oddly, it did pop.
However, I don't actually have it unlocked.

I bought the game on my other account. Steam allows the sharing of libraries. Furthermore, why are you being a snotty brat for no reason?

If he has a pirate copy, I do not think it is possible to get Steam to show Steam achievements for it.

So I made a new account and shared my library with it.

Now, as for your help, honestly the simplest potential solution is to simply reload before the final quest and try it again. Assuming that doesn't work there is a program you can Google that allows you to alter your Steam achievements, just be advised that using it is against the ToS and could theoretically result in an account ban, even though I'd be shocked if unlocking an achievement on a single player game did so.

Wow. That is a great idea! Why am I too dumb to have thought of that? I have seen many users ask Steam for a way to delete achievements. So they can start from scratch. I assume you are doing a Family Plan with yourself. I have a few duplicates of games because of bundles. They are not worth anything to sell. I can use them to make additional accounts. For my wife and sons and daughters :) I think an account needs at least one purchased game in it to be a full account. I wonder if you stop sharing, will the achievements on that shared account go away? Then you could share again and start from scratch.

I made the mistake about someone not owning the game once.

After it was pointed out family accounts can show the game as not own i stopped bothering to ask people if they own the game. I just assume they own the game on a console system. Especially considering the console system forums suck and you will find better info here.
