You havn't used it in a while then, I saw an option related to that in the installer I think, I didn't use it though cause it warned about a performance drop
You always like to bring this up. As I understand it, that just means that there are more "things" to be loaded onto the graphics card to display the area. Only someone with minimum specs would be affected by this. Yes?
It can also muck up the pathing in a settlement. But that is just the game making the settlers look busy. The mucked up pathing does not actually affect the game. Yes?
thats because the pathing script doesn't update right away, it eventually works later as you build up
It can uncover meshes that were not meant to be seen.
When you break some meshes they also break elsewhere in the world.
They affect the navmesh because the surface is no longer there.
It also breaks the long distance viewing when you remove larger objects.
It also causes conflicts with the scrap profile (.JSN) of a settlement. Which is basically a file with everything scrapped, and a file that shows all scrapable objects. Those who have used Transfer Settlements or SS City Planner would be familiar.
While the mod makes your game look pretty, the things it does to the game engine is not. Which is why I prefer to just stick with the Place Everywhere Extra Object library that cleans up misc objects (corpses etc.)
I have never played with the feature of the mod Amazing Follower Tweaks that you can tell you companion to clean up a settlement. No idea how complete that is. I am stuck with scrap everything for now.
I do use SS though but not the city planner, I have the config set to high control which means I setup all the plots and everything else for them
Also, it bugs put Castle and Lighthouse, and some other settlements, as you cant place objects on the ground, they will clip through to the 'real' ground.
