Rise of the Commonwealth mod help
Hello,

I have the pack "Rise of the Commonwealth" installed along with the Sim Settlements mod, but for some reason the mod acts as if I don't have rise of the commonwealth installed. I go to check for city plans and a message comes up saying "There are no new plans for this city available" or something like that. Also, the mod does not give me the option to start tearing down what meager buildings I've made as per the in depth tutorial has touched on.

I've been all over trying to find a solution but there doesn't seem to be any. Is this a glitch with the mod?

Hello there.
Did you assing a leader for the settlement, prior of trying to activate the plan?

Also, do you download and install your mods with Nexus Mod Manager?
Wilder King Aug 13, 2018 @ 10:07am
Yes, I did assign a leader to my city prior to activating a plan. I thought the message would come up asking me if I wanted to demolish my settelment but I didnt know at the time that you need the expansion pack, so I downloaded that and installed it again and tried but still the same thing. Nothings changed, I tried going back to older saves and still nothing

I used NMM at first, but I've also tried manual installations within the data folder, and it still hasnt worked. About to try the bethesda mod option now

Have you tried the Three in One version, which includes Sim Settlements, Rise of the Commonwealth and Industrial Revolution all in one?

If that does not solve the problem, then try the BethNet version.

In either case, keep me posted. I am interested to hear from any issues players are facing.

If you need in-depth help, then visit our forums. There is really no one else from the official team than me watching over Steam forums for SS issues and I do not actually play with RotC myself. Best brains are in the mod's official support site. I am part of the site staff, so I do catch up possible help requests from there as well.

The three in one version, from my understanding, did not actually include rise of the commonwealth. At least, thats what most of the forum post's I've been to have led me to believe.

Even with that version installed before, I't didn't activate Rise of the commonwealth options. I've been to the forums at the main website, and combed them. Doesn't look like anyone else has this problem go figure.

I can confirm that Three-in-one includes Rise of the Commonwealth.

While I do not actually play with RotC, I have a test pforile for it in my Mod Organizer 2. RotC features are included and working correctly with that version.

Do you have to be a certain ways through the main quest before the mod starts working with rise of the commonwealth? It says my level is 0, and when I go to select a plan it says "There are no city plans available for this area."

Do you have to enable it in the 2078 holotape?
Ilja Aug 13, 2018 @ 10:41am
It is automatically enabled, when Sim Settlements is enabled from the holotape.

It's really strange, I have version 3.4.0 installed and it just isnt woring. And i just made this save too. I made a forum post on the main website, but I don't think its getting a respone anytime soon :(

Guess thats the end of this mod

What settlement are you trying to construct? Spectacle Island, Boston Airport, and all of the DLC settlements (With the exception of the Mechanist's Lair) can't be constructed (Due to the lack of any city plans) as of this post. There is a mod that adds a schematic for Longfellows Cabin (not that good IMO) if you want that.

Well, now that is a good question. I presumed that this affected all settlements?

And you have a companion that can act as a leader, right?
Wilder King Aug 13, 2018 @ 12:38pm
Yes, Codsworth was the leader when I was trying

Hmm, I'm using the exact same setup with the same version, and the same leader. I'd try uninstalling, then reinstalling the mod (Make sure to make a save after you uninstall!). If that doesn't work, it's probably just an incompatibility between mods (Though I don't know what would cause it).
EDIT: Also make sure you have RoTC at the bottom of your load order.
