Always running out of aluminum
I went to 3 places with a lot of aluminum: Mahkra fishpaking, four leaf fishpacking plant and corvega assembly plant and i still need more.I am doing mods to guns thats require a lot of aluminum. Where could i get a ton but not if those 3 places? What mods could make this easier next playthrough?

If you have enough caps, and the right Scrapper perk, buy all weapons that yield ally and always pick up any that are on enemies.

Edit: if you are simply wanting a specific mod, you could keep a look out for modded weapons and lift the mods off them.

The wasteland workshop dlc adds shipments to the junk vendors. They can be pricey but they are easy to get.

Set up a tier 2-3 junk vendor in your settlements, do a route between them and the various vendors (diamond city and bunker hill). Get all the aluminum shipments and scrap items.

Caps shouldn't be a problem if you got your settlements set up to generate them

I suspect Scavenger will give a decent amount from advanced weapons you pick up, I haven't tried it though.

As I like to customise weapons frequently I make a point of checking relevant vendors I see for useful crafting items, things containing oil, adhesives, screws and aluminium every time I see them. This includes settlement built vendors.
It won't get you huge amounts in an instant, but it builds up quite quickly.

Can't remember if lvl 1 yields ally from weapons. Probably does but it's limited iirc. Lvls 2 and 3 (esp 3) are the ones worth getting.

Another ally source is Mass Pike Tunnel. Many ally cans inside and they respawn. Can get well into double figures of ally from junk in the tunnel.

And it's possible to grab 12-16 ally by picking up cans and trays along the route from DC, north to just below Cambridge Police Station. These respawn at each cell reset.

See, i never thought aluminum was an issue...cans are literally everywhere, as well as tv trays and stuff. Kind of like how the game says adhesive is "rare." Not really. Duct tape and wonderglue are in every nook and cranny in tis game. Plus, with how many bottlecaps the game throws at you, buy shipments.

Scrapper 1 = uncommon materials (aluminum is uncommon)
Scrapper 2 = rare
Scrapper 3 = 2x as much uncommon

Buy assault rifles from weapon shops and scrap them. Easiest way to get a ton of aluminum.
(the upgraded ones, with scrapper 3 perk)

Adhesive isnt that rare. aluminum is rare if your making a big power armour collection or modding a ton of guns. Im trying to do both of those

went and look in my nate's workshop under junk and found follow containing aluminum:

aluminun cans(2) , aluminun cnaster (2), cakepan(3), hubcaps(2), coolant cap (2), industrial oil canster (2), oil can(1), ring stand(1), surgical trays(3), tvdinnertray(3), toy rocketship(1), wake nester alarm clock(2)

you can find all these items by exploding or buying off merchants(under junk)...there are some merchants that sell raw material in buck(dont know who though sorry).

settlement merchants dont have alu shipments, only a few vendors have alu shipments sometimes, the weapon vendor in DC is one of them. not all weapons yield alu, only a few, and only the ones with 2 mods, combat rifles and 10mm are best chance, most other weapons dont give alu, and 25 sounds like a mod, 15 is already a very good scrap.
And even if u stumble about a alu shipment, it contains only 50 units, what means max 2 weapons modded.

Pretty sure I've obtained ally from modded Plasma rifles - but not from Lasers.

A heavily modded (with vanilla items) Assault rifle has yielded up to 27 ally with lvl 3 Scrapper perk. Suppressed pipe weapons give anywhere between 2-4 units, possibly more.

What seems to happen with the jump from lvl 2 to 3 in Scrapper is yields go way up. I'd get a single screw and 1 copper from a pipe rifle at lvl2 and double that at lvl 3.
