They are condescending, ungrateful schmucks -- too much like RL.
Preston, I dislike because he presents as very entitled. I like his idealism but the way he talks to the SS despite the fact you're his boss, saved his group and are responsible for anything the Minutemen have accomplished, you still haven't done enough...and he let's you know it. So the others I dislike for annoyance, but on him I wish they'd done his character a bit differently since he's not a bad guy.
Add the keyword for no power armor repairs and no ammo use to the companions, so they are as strong as settlers and Danse.

Also sim fast travel and play survival.
i get to the point that i'll do a quick save so that i can kill rhys and then go back to the point just before i shoot him.
i guess i just have that rampage through the office gene.
Makes me feel better. I think he could turn sweet great-grandmothers violent.
I may have to try that!
His character narrative and potential was wasted, was very underwhelming towards the end, and the lack of expansion on his own story and what they did with him made him a one-shot of an encounter and that's very dissapointing.
Kellogg had the most potential out of any npc in the game..but just like any named, or faction leader npc we barely get any information about them and they're just left as either an obstacle or means to advance the story.
Definitely not Emil's best work.
Listen, I'll get the cure for your kid. Then, why don't you join him!
Not really because I am encountering them more for some reason in this playthrough, it is more for their 'negative' attitudes.... While being hindered in intelligence (well most of them) they at the same time, think they are a literal gift to the Commonwealth, considering themselves to be superior to humans. They constantly talk about how much they hate humans, how much they want to fight them, called me a "slippery human" when I snuck past a couple of them, and other insults.
Meanwhile, they never improve or advance themselves, live in dilapitated wrecked habitats with literal human meatbags around, only being interested in 'looting' and making better meatbags. They don't even improve their weapons and armor past a beginner's level, and their 'great idea' of weaponry is a Mutant Suicider.
I am really learning to hate Super Mutants (well most of them)...
I'm not even sure how the Institute got ahold of the FEV, it's never explained in-game to my knowledge.
That being said Strong is one my favorite companions in this game.
