Nuka-Nuke or modified Thirst Zapper?

Which weapon is a more worthy utilization of Quantum-based ammunition?

IMO the thirst zapper, I'm less likely to accidentally blow myself up with it

IMO buy Big Boy in Diamond City (if you haven't already) and slap the Nuka-Nuke mod on it. Yes you can kill yourself very easily, but you'll get by far the most bang for your quantum.

I like the Thirst Zapper, it seems more accurate than the Nuka-Nuke.

Give your companions a modified thirst zapper with the companion inf ammo mod and use a fat boy nuka nuke launcher yourself. Best of both worlds.

I personaly prefer the Big Boy with the Mod on it too - indeed its useless indoors but against big targets or "groups" of pepole/mobs its the total overkill.
By the By - Critical hits do always hit, no matter the Weapon.. so simply target any part you can aim at (no matter the % als long its not Zero) and hit the Critial Button/Key..
If you abort the Animation from Vats (the one that follows the Shot) you can then see its like a guided missle following even running Targets

Dint meet anything in the Game that coud withstand that even on Survial
