For what Part? and depends a bit on what you wanna do - if its for jump on enemys take the explosive vents for the Legs..but watch out you dont hit friendly npcs when you fall down somewhere ;)

I personally love the helmet mod that causes all live creatures to glow red. Lovely, lovely against mirelurks. You can build that one fairly early on, as well. I don't use outside mods at all, so I almost always put the ones on the legs that add to carry weight. Explosive vents are great, but I wind up wounding my companions and settlers on accident using those, so... yeah.

Jetpack is everyone's favorite, probably, but it takes a good while to be able to create it. So, meanwhile, fun is where you build it!

WIPAG - Worsin's Immersive Power Armor Garage
It has jet packs built into the mod

Is the vanilla Jetpack any good? I built it once, and the flight time was so short it was about useless. Ditto the stealth when crouched mod, they both drain your AP so fast that they seem somewhat pointless.

Supposedly that mod aggros mobs, on the wikia pages it gets mentioned in several missions as setting enemies hostile against you before they were supposed to trigger, not sure if it's a bug or an effect of the helmet.

I have never, ever had anything aggro on me because I noticed them glowing red way before getting to them. Silliest thing I ever heard of. I only use vanilla and DLCs, no outside mods at all. That's a personal choice, by the way, but, in all the hours I've played, that helmet mod is my favorite, and it's never let me down. I'm also able to sneak just fine in my Power Armor just by crouching, with a few points in sneak and a few magazines. Not very authentic, I'm aware, but fun, anyway.

Without any mod that fix that problem, there are several quest that cannot get peacfull solution like BoS where someone steal food from Boston Airport. I think Covenant could affect too...

https://fallout.fandom.com/wiki/Targeting_HUD

BUGS
The targeting HUD may cause some NPCs to become hostile when they are targeted, somtimes preventing progress in a related quest. Examples include Reunions, Galleria and Long Time Coming. Fixed in official patch 1.5

Seemingly they fixed it anyhoo.
Okay time to start using again.....

If you build your character and use items that boost ap regen or the amount you have it can be useable as long as you do not expect to say fly all they way up to an overpass from the ground or the prydwen without using the airport tower to assist in getting there then it can be usable. sometimes its the only way of finding hidden areas on certain roofs etc.

In fact if we use the air vents on the back of that corvega building as place to pause for ap regeneration we can go up the back of the building avoiding the hostiles at the front entrance or for getting the drop on them from the roof of the place.
