(SOLVED) What does and what doesn't respawn?
I am just spending all my free time (Don't worry, i am not one of these guys who is unemployed and spends 24/7 on the computer/console, i have a stable job with a good salary) in this game's survival mode, and to my surprise, it's AWESOME!

But there's a problem.

See, i've explored almost the entire northern part of the Commonwealth, and most of the south part (Currently grinding to level up to try and go to the Glowing Sea to see Virgil WITHOUT the power armor, cuz i always thought that the power armor makes the game 60% easier, which i don't like). Killed too many Raiders, Gunners, some Children of the Atom, Super Mutants, Ghouls, Mierlurks, Queen Mierlurks, all legendary enemies, raising a lot of bottle caps and such. But the thing is, that i dunno if this game had this already prepared and respawns the map's enemies in order to not to get me bored walking through the already explored (And enemies killed) area and surprisingly finding out it's empty, scavenging items incluided.

I alreay know that some areas are pre-scripted so once you kill the enemies there once (Such as Corvega, the race track where those robots race, some Raiders invading involving a Minutemen settlements quest, etc), they will not respawn, but i find it diifficult to know if the enemies on this game will respawn, do you guys know if Bethesda had thius coming?

I estimate that i've completed the 41% of the game, no DLCs and mostly by side quests.

Pretty much everything respawns, except named / boss enemies (e.g. Swan, raider bosses are replaced with higher variant raider), fusion cores in generators, unique weapons, that kind of stuff.

Nice! Not only because of that but also cuz i'd really hate to kill Swan twice, he was a nightmare! Thanks for the answer!

The main issue is in normal mode the respawn timers are much lower and you fast travel wasting lots of time because fast travel is actually much slower time wise than just jogging there normally.

Yeah, i also had a doubt i wanted to ask about the items (Such as, having the cashiers give you Pre-war money AGAIN), but it solved itself when i checked on the wiki article.

personally i use the survival options mod to increase the spawn rate, if u dont use it the commonwealth feels empty since areas u cleared take a lot to respawn and if u walk on the cell it will reset the timer
