Alien spaceship glitch

So, im trying to get the alien space blaster without console commands so when i get to level 20 i follow the steps to trigger the event. When i get to the ship crash site, there is no ship - just the fog/smoke particles around it. What should i do? (I cannot open an old save as i have been quicksaving for about 2 hours now)

Have you already seen the "event" when you can here the sound of the ship crashing ?

I remember it took me a while after level 20 before I saw it. The wiki says it happens when you're fast traveling outside or traveling long enough, not sure there's more you can do.

Is this the first time you're doing this? If so then at least know the ship doesn't really serve a purpose. The blaster is somewhere else. I don't know what is causing the ship to not appear, but I assume it is a mod conflict of some kind. To find the Blaster look for some green blood and follow the trail.

Yea, so i tried nocliping and it seems the spaceship is deep under the ground of the wasteland and there is no green blood trail left by it. Guess i won't be using it...

Just check the Cave hes in, its close by just east of the oberland Station:
