Fusion core collection
I just realized something. If you have BoS membership and are on the Prydwen, if you need fusion cores for free, just pull them out of your power armor when the energy is about 5% or lower. Then just take it to Teagun and sell it. Fusion cores are the same price no matter the charge. Sell it, and buy a charged one. BOOM!

Interesting, but unless I've missed something you should never have to buy fusion cores ever. Even living in my power armor i'm just stacking them up in crazy numbers. Perhaps if the gattling laser is your thing, but i'd personally rather use the spent cores as mini nukes and just buy new ones.

frankly is a waste... eventually you will get enough of everything and you can pretty much own all ♥♥♥♥ you want...

I suppose you come out somewhat ahead by doing this, but doesn't Teagun sell them for a higher amount than he buys them? Cuts into your gain. Anyway Kronos is right, the only way you should have trouble finding enough fusion cores is if you never pick the Nuclear Physicist perk.
At level 14 the usage rate of cores can be cut by 50%.

You can do this from the very start of the game. the game doesn't recognize how much energy is left, so all cores sell for the same amount, regardless of drain. You don't have to belong to any faction to get this 'bug/glitch/oversight".

And like stated above, you should never have to buy cores. I literally have a hundred just sitting in my inventory that I never use.

If you can, use the jet pack modification on the torso of your power armor, and make your legs kinetic servos. When you actively use the jet pack, it recharges the fusion core for whatever reason. I’m not running any mods. I bought the GOTY edition of the game.

lol! I need to try this! Hopefully the UF4P didn't correct this!

Never had to install UF4P. Try the jet pack out and let me know how it turns out ;-)
