BoS or Institute? Mass Fusion: Time for a Decision

I've just triggered Mass Fusion. I have a choice: Teleport to Mass Fusion and permanently alienate the Brotherhood, or inform my Steel brethren of the Insitute's intended treachery, thereby forcing my son, "Father," to realize that my courser chip must be deactivated, closing the Institute to me forever.

Are there any unique or legendary weapons that I will lose the opportunity to put in my inventory by making this choice? I find navigating inside the Institute to be irritating and annoying, so might I get a cool weapon siding with the Steel faction? On the other side of the coin, does the Institute have a weapon for me in its future?

I've contemplated killing cats, but decided against it because I didn't want to arouse the ire of the local animal-lovers.

I'd side with Dogmeat and stuff both BoS and Father. Who needs laser weapons anyway?

If you do the Dogmeat ending you get a year's supply of Chum.

This is the option I took.... only gain was becoming Sentinal status and a set armor (T-60 (ver 4)) for BOS. I enjoyed ending the game with BOS and MM. We work together rather well.

i always go institute. Yeah they are rather morally grey but they dont do nearly the amount of hypocritical bs that the bos pulls every single game. bos just needs to admit they want to rule the world being the techno kings while everyone else is limited to sticks and mud

If you have console enabled remember to SAVE "some unique name" beforehand so you can come back and take a different path later, unless you want to leave other paths for other playthroughs.
