I wonder if there are any kid gloves in '76 that do heinous damage. that'd be funny. or power armor painted like a clown that has crowd control mods intended for clown control at a ghoul circus or something.

I'm shocked. That would be scary to see coming at you--like that virtual world in fallout 3 with the 'pint sized slasher'! but with boxing gloves.

Although I was hoping for clownified power armor and a custom power fist attachment. A bunch of killer clowns--in armor! Maybe something like that can come later. There was that detergent paintjob in fallout 4 that looked sort of festive like that with the color choices used for it.

I wonder if, when considering the nature of things, if clown outfits are supposed to get a charisma buff (when working a day job)--or an agility buff (to better slash people with as nature intended)?


(as to the website layout, it just looked incomplete since I don't have javascript enabled... what horrors are there besides the clown attire?)

Well considering the freeform nature of it... you just might see a group of 4 killer clowns running around (the cosmetics hide your armor but don't work with powerarmor) and if they perk and stat right they will have as much damage resist as power armor! So it's a possibility.

But none of the cosmetics give bonuses. They are pure looks, and you can find some in the store iirc but all of them also exist in the world. The store is just for the people that don't want to wait to find them (or for the other items like icons, skins, etc)

There are plenty of "pay to win more easily than someone who didn't and instead has to grind for 100 hours in a special area open only on Tuesdays provided no one gets there first' for a chance for this item".

How's that looking in '76? I haven't heard any rage or praise about the in-game store. Cosmetic stuff I never really had spent actual money on in MMOs, but I might grind for something if it's on the way to something else I intended to do anyway and isn't problematic to do to get the reward.

pure cosmetics, the only store exclusive items are skins/photomode/icons/etc

Cosmetics only.
Apparel, tattoos, hairstyles, skins/colorations of armors, CAMP-items (different flooring,etc.) and so on and so forth.

You earn the currency for that shop ingame and you can spend money on it if you want.
There are static "challenges" weekly and daily ones through which you earn the currency.

Try to use the pinned F76 forum.
This one is a garbage-fire.

I was refunded. But I still have full access to the game. And ive been playing the hell out of it now that its free to play, pretty much just pvping and taking over scrubs camps, following them with open mic and annoying them so bad they log.

Who knew the world of griefing woudl be opened in such a way. Not as fun as wow griefing but i'm having fun in this buggy mess of a "game"
