Looking for mod to consolidate workshop junk
Hello,
Anyone know of a mod that will collect the junk items from the workshops of all settlements and consolidate it in a single container? I like to keep everything at one central spot and traveling around to every settlement to empty out my workshops of crops and such is very tedious.

Thanks

connect supply lines to each settlement and your problem is solved, you need local leader perk

Salvage beacons. The poster Ilja uses it when out wandering but I don't see why you can't use it for what you want to do.

The Mod SKK Workshop Ownership and Attacks[www.nexusmods.com] has a function to consolidate all owned Workshop inventorys to the local Workshop, no need for routes or settlers, it is a function in your pipboy. I installed it to disable the Minute Man Quests and the Settlement attacks, but i found this function very usefull as well. It is complete configurable and you can only use the settings you want. Very usefull Mod and for me a must have. :)

That. Unless you can actually find a reason to have junk physically in a "central spot". I certainly can't think of any.

Thanks for the replies guys! The SKK Workshop Ownership mod might be what I am looking for. Can I just use the consolidated workshop inventory part without all the other functions?

The reason I am wanting a mod like this is for several reasons.

First you have to go to each settlements to pick up the cash made off your vendors which can be a pain when you have lots of settlements.

Also there is a cap on the amount of crops from farms and junk from scavenger stations that can be added to a workshop before the settlers stop collecting. You can circumvent this by using the uncapped settlement surplus mod but then eventually you will have such a pile of crops and water in your workshops that they will be attacked constantly. I recently had 5 attacks happen at the same time on different towns, and I didnt have time to respond to them all before a couple of them failed and my towns got ransacked.

Manufacturing extended has object extractors that allows you to pull any item from any linked settlement.

Well, you see... There is such a thing as "game balance".

But I sure won't stop you from playing the way you like.

What can I say, I'm a massive packrat. I will never use all those resources but it's comforting to know they are there. :D

Oki, i will tell and show you why i looked for this info for 2 h untill i found this topic.

1 - JUNK items that are over valued by game. For example golden watch is 40 caps.
30 town with 15 scavenders, with one shop. Gives 1500 caps and 15x30x2 = 450 junk items.
Per in game day (72 min). Junk in workshop is capped at 100x(10 per settler). So max 300 junk per workshop, so total junk you can have scavered in commonweath is 9000 scrap.

2 - Why waste time to look for parts you need, if you can have army of scavengers to do if for you...
Vanilla Scavenging Stations
2 scrap items per day per manned scavenging station
20% chance of no scrap being collected on a given day
60% chance of common scrap, 30% chance of uncommon scrap, 10% chance of rare scrap

3 - Reason to have all junk acesible from one workshop is Automatic factories making amunition, clothes and so on. You need that junk in one sorting machine that put it in use in diferent factories sectors to have what is needed.
For example FURY in chemical station, you need that junk that can scavenger find to craft it. and going evry 72 min by fast travel to each town to get workshop junk is anoing....

To trade Reactor coolant for 100 caps for example.
Berserk syringe that you need junk to freeze enemy for 2 minutes. So yea, you need it very much!!!
Berry Mentats that give +5 Intelligence for 8 minutes
Highlights living targets for 8 minutes
I use berry Mentats before giving up quest, i put up all + int clothes. So 10 base + 6 + 5
From 21 int i get 210% experience point
Like you get 30 exp for discovering new place, with max piper perk you get 60 exp
with 21 int you get 126 exp..

4 - Fertilizer from brahims (you can buy more to increse production but is is random enconter of wandering seller of brahim - Kelly or catch from cage options).
1 brahmin gives 1 fertilizer per day (72min real time minutes).
You need FERT for Contraptions Workshop add-on, to used it to craft ammo, chemicals like JET and so on.

5, 6, 7, 8, 9, 10 and so on. It is endless reasons why you need to one click to get all your items in one place......

Why are you resurrecting a 5 years old thread to tell me things which don't really matter anyways? I do all what you are saying without having to centralise junk in one settlement (yes, I'm still playing a game right this moment) and that's still 8 years after game lauch.

And it still don't change my original answer: if that's what you want to do (and I'm sure a settlement mod has been made for this since then, would simply be a side option for big settlement upgrade mods IMHO considering settlements like The Bog use this kind of inventory teleportation exploit already) then more the power to you.
