Is there a way to keep your hair under a helmet/without going bald?
most helmets straight up delete (until you take it of again) hair if you equip most helmets.
Google is very unhelpfull on this subject. and there seems no mods that doesnt disable hair under a helmet. That makes me think it if its even possible to remove those restrictions.

well, not shooting a question is always a miss. so does anyone know how one can fix that?

Thanks in advance

not without clipping issues, which is why most remove the hair. The closest is one oxhorn uses that removes most helmets during conversations and cut scenes

the hair is fairly short. and i doubt it would result in any clipping.
but it just looks kinda dumb when my character is suddely bald when wearing a helmet.

I am looking for a way to lift those restrictions.

It was part of the game mechanic when an item is equipped in the "helmet" slot the game hides or unequips the characters hair as mentioned due to clipping issues.

Basically due to the numerous hair types available it would take multiple different models for each helmet (possible one for each type of hair) to fix clipping issues it was easier for them to just hide the hair.

which helmet do you want to use? then I can check it at my own if it really makes you "bald".

There is a way to do it, but it is seriously difficult to model.
