How did this happen ?
If the mod does replace some character's clothes, which characters are affected ?

Thank you for your cooperation.

it may of been added to the level list, some armor and clothe mods add there items randomly to varies settlers and NPC's etc
I'd rather need to know exactly how it affects NPCs and exactly which companions it affects, aswell.

The mod description covers all that.
Just looked, but cannot find any precise information on that.
Really? I found this within 10 seconds:
- Leveled lists alter NPCs from Minutemen, Institute, Railroad and settlers

- Most of the wastelandish outfits have been added to leveled lists so they should appear on NPCs throughout the Commonwealth, especially on dead NPCs that spawn with random clothes. The unfortunate side-effect of this is that it will conflict with other mods that edit those same distribution lists.

- This mod includes my companion armours from my Companion Overhaul, some pieces from Armoured Jumpsuits, Armour Collection, Sleeveless Outfits and Apocalypse Accessories. The meshes are improved and this is meant to replace those mods.

Eli's Armor Compendium does not make any edits to companions.

All the companion gear is available for crafting, with a special bench, if you purchase instructions from Eli's store.

Yeah I understood that certain companions can have custom outfits but, WHICH ones precisely, like a list of them.

All of the humanoid companions, including DLC companions.

As said above, none edits are made for them, or their default outfits.

Sorry. I take that back.

Eli's mod actually edits X6-88's outfit. That is the only companion outfit replaced by the mod. I just checked from xEdit.

I forgot that, because another mod is overwriting the change in my game and replacing that specific outfit for X6-88.
Okay so they all have custom outfits but only X6-88's default outfits has been changed.

Following vanilla NPCs are being edited by the mod:
  • 000BBEE6: CompanionX6-88
  • 000D29F8: Z1-14
  • 0010C5FA: RR301InstituteCourser
