Vortex and game on different harddrives

Does it matter if vortex and and game that has mods are installed on different harddrives? Wil mods work as supposed in such case?

Vortex can be on a different drive but the mods must be stored and installed on the same drive as the game is installed. It is not a problem though as you just need to point vortex to the game installtion drive via settings, it won't allow you to install mods until you do.

Thank you! I read in Old world radio Boston mod description that mod installing prog should be at the same drive as fallout 4 or else mod can't have problems.
