I also agree with Moss. If you put it between two pieces of bread, it's a sandwich.

Further combination of this principle with that of lasagna (at least two layers of filling between
sheets of pasta, but pasta does not need to be the outermost layer) gives the lasagna sandwich, layered as: Bread, Pasta, Bread, Pasta, Bread, Pasta, Bread.
