Bodyslide build not applying to ingame body.
The CBBE body and textures I use are applying fine. However, when I try and build the cbbe body it never applies in game, It says it is writing to; Local Disk (C:)\Program Files (x86)\steam\steamapps\common\Fallout4\Meshes\actors\character\characterassets\femalebody.nif

However, I also have another folder with a female body.nif under Local Disk (C:)\Program Files(x86)\steam\steamapps\common\Fallout4\Data\Meshes\actors\character\characterassets\Femalebody.nif

Is the game supposed to have 2 locations for femalebody.nif? If not I have no clue what is causing this problem.

are you using admin powers as you need to be a admin to write to that folder with a app.

the first folder you listed is wrong, it does not contain within the DATA folder.

Are you using Vortex? Seems since I changed to Vortex from using NMM none of my clothing edits in Outfit Studio are showing up in the game.

To me it works just fine. My girls still are busty as hell.

1st dir is wrong.

I started manual mod installation, as I cant figure why vortex wont load the mods properly, a bit more than the half of the 195 mods is done...

I call it a stable minimal approach..
With around 100 mods ;) xD

Seriously, as of end oct 2018, i recomend manual installs over the use of tools.
I had used NMM (incl tested the continued community version on git) for years, but right now, for me, it/they (vortex) act too broken.

My 2 cents, hth

I've modded manually since oblivion released. And of all the threads over the years with people having trouble with external tools or utilities, It's always a problem with their managers and the modified virtual folders.

Doesnt write files to the right place or you modified the wrong one.

For me its so much simpler when the game is modded manually, As everything is in its natural state and external tools and utilities behave as expected.

There is enough things to go wrong without having to throw mod manager troubleshooting into the mix.

-My decrepit oldschool opinion.

@OP, Top directory is wrong and not one used by the game. All assets load under the folder "data".
