Yeah, he wouldn't have this problem if he learned what was going on under the hood.
Take the time to learn how to install mods manually, learn how they interact with eachother, then use a program that's ment to simplfy it for you.
It's like trying to use a calculator without knowing math, you might get by with simple things but once you need to learn an order of operations your dead in the water.
Vortex does work well for most people, and it works much better than NMM. If you want to give it another try I would suggest uninstalling Fallout 4, deleting all Fallout file from your Steam directory. Reinstall Fallout 4 and then try installing Vortex and your mods again. I would bet that with a clean install of the game you would not have the issues you are having.
Intill you make that program I'll just stick to the best there is, Vortex.
