If I may comment on the Distance Settings. Shadows are particularly demanding, so I like to set a far Distance but a low DIRectional for Shadows - this way, I see shadows far away, and they look good up close as well. I use Bilago's configurator to set Distance at like 14000 (High) then the DIRrectional/Close/Detail at like 6000 (Low x 2) - be sure to set the fading distance (LOD) high, as in 800 or 900, so there isn't that "line" where the detail changes. A high LOD setting makes the shadows fade slowly over the distance, instead of having an obvious line where it goes from "crappy" to "good" so quickly.
NVIDIA Optimized Settings have a Low Grass setting, but all other Details on Ultra (for my GTX 1060), so I'd lower Grass for sure, but try the other ones higher and see if it works for you. HTH
