Tessa glitch?
Hey all...

I'm a few hours into FO4 on Xbox One (I've had it for a few years and haven't played it until now. Gonna buy it on steam once it goes on sale again). Last night I wandered into Quincy and encountered Tessa. I'm currently level 10, so she quickly put a whooping on my a**. I ran away and let the Nick and the Peabodys deal with her.. running far enough to where it would allow me to quick travel back to Diamond City. Once I respawned in DC, Tessa had followed me and started to attack everyone there. The guards and citizens dispatched her after a minute or two of fighting and I went on to loot Tessas Fist, a helmet and some decent chest piece.

If I continue on with this save, will it mess anything up down the road? It doesn't look like she's a quest character or anything so I think I should be ok?

I ran into her in a similar way, first play-through, just wandering around down southward when I ran across that quest with the kid, which led me to a confrontation with Tessa & co. I was at a level where I was able to take her on, had Cait with me, and help from the Peabodys it was a tough but winable fight. I too wondered if I'd interrupted some other quest, but kept on playing. Doesn't seem to have affected anything one way or another.

I've run across one or two computer terminals later on that made reference to Tess I think, but nothing to do with her as really come up. I looked at her wiki page and it lists her as non-essential and not connected to any quests either, so you're good to go.

Nice way to kill and loot her at a lower level, btw. I never would have thought she would follow you on a fast-travel like that. Way to make those Diamond City guards earn their pay.

Nah, she isn't important

I don't think killing any of the mob in Quincy impacts on quests. This includes Clint (? - guy who uses PA) and the named (?) char who hangs out in the bellcote of the church, wielding either a Fat Man or a Missile Launcher. I think the latter is replaced with a similarly armed, char if he is killed.

Yeah, no kidding... It's decent loot for the level I'm at. At first I couldn't figure out what was going on, but after I saw the guards attacking her, I was cracking up. I tried to join in, but I could barely take a sliver out of her health.
