In Steam, go to the Help tab > System Information copy all of that and paste it here.

I think your CPU is too old. i3 is more like 2012. The minimum stated is i5 with i7 being recommended. However, I have seem some videos of people playing with i5-4150.

It is interesting that you can run win-10 64 bit on that cpu.
You have a plenty of ram, if I am reading correctly.
Try testing the memeory usage without the game and then with the game. Use the task manager and see if it spikes to max memory.
The other possibliity is the video card. You will have to google that to see compatability.

If anyone more computer savy than me see this, feel free to chime in.

Yes, you are below minimum specs and probably won't be able to run the game on that machine. If you have less than 2 hours of play time and have had it for less than 2 weeks you should be able to refund it through Steam.

Along with what was said above, you have a dual core CPU and the game requires a quad core

It's not really age. it's just the cores. My AMD Phenom II X4 955 3.2GHz came out in 2009, almost 10 years ago and 3 or so years before the Intel i3.. The same with my ASUS M4A78T-E motherboard. I can play Fallout 4 because the AMD CPU is a full 4 core chip and the i3 is a 2 core, as you pointed out.

You are below minimum system requirements, there is no way you can play with Intel integrated HD chip.
Ominous187 Aug 20, 2018 @ 1:31am

Beny Aug 20, 2018 @ 9:25pm

As long as you bought the game from the Steam store, here's what you need to know to get a refund.

well... your i3 is only a few hundred points behind the minimum i5 2300 on steams store page. it should play if you get a graphics card. just not sure how well since you have 4 threads not 4 cores.

get a cheap nvidia card, even an old GTX 750 can play this game at 30 fps, better than console peasants.

doesnt matter if cpu cant handle it..

not for noting with the amount of money that goes into this site you would think they would have an option to scan your comp and then shows you the specs on the store page and green checks next to them if you meet any of the requirements and red x for the ones you don't.
