Is the player character a Synth? No. *spoilers*
This new very well done video says the player character is a synth but it is wrong.

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=k-HJHCSPyRk

The video says the PC memories are more limited than they are and the PC memories go through the rise of nuclear fusiion and even the invention of the Pipboy.

The video says that the PC is upgraded so much because he is a synth but it is actually through the Pipboy and other means the PC is upgraded.

Many other things to.

The PC is so strong versus the rest of the world because he is "unmodified" by 200 years of exposure to radiation and ultra "healthy" due to living into the "real" world before the war. That plus his obvious real life military training which explain why he can operate obscure military weapons like the minigun and more importantly power armor without any "training".

What? The intro sequence clearly show the PC wearing power armor WHILE it was getting repaired/maintenanced. Ok, I can see where you are going with Nate but she could just as well just have learned the basics from her husband.

I'm not feeling like a video now, but I will say, no one has explained this screenshot for me - one I took at character creation. One that made me question my very reality in my alternate reality in my alt-game reality world.

It reminded me of that simulator neighborhood in Fallout 3 where you look for the world flaw to escape, per se.

As for mods: I *think* I was after a clean save for a mod set up, so I don't think they were active. Of those I have, I am unaware of any that affect character creation. I don't even use such mods in this game yet.

Okay? If you think the theory is wrong, why do you give him any attention? Do you want to reward him with views for spreading falsehoods?

The line sounds better with FemShep though.

The idea that the player character is a synth is not new but the game actually proves he isnt a synth.

There are alot of mysteries in the Fallout 4 story to look into and its interesting, because like going from Fallout 3 and Zeta to Fallout 4 , Fallout 5 or possibly future Fallout 4 DLC will continue the story.

The alternate time line can explain alot. Something strange is going on in the Fallout universe, alot of secrets and mysteries and imposters and everything, but the story is in order directly from Fallout 3.

Yes, we know that, this 'theory' has been debunked a thousand times. What i'm asking is why do you give him any exposure even though pretty much everything he said is wrong?

Because while Oxhorn is without a doubt the best at finding these mysteries,, the other Youtubers may have insights as well even if not entirely right and like i said the story will continue on in future DLC or Fallout 5 or possibly even Fallout 76.

Most players dont know the Institute is an alien front and dont even know half the things about Fallout 4.
