Can't "SCRAP" Automatrons in/at the Robot Workbench?

I have a robot I'd like to simply Scrap (Automatron DLC) - it even has in big letters, first option in the Workbench menu interface: (R)SCRAP...(E)MODIFY...etc - yet it does nothing [that I have seen]. I am unable to Scrap bots at all... I thought perhaps it was only for "freshly brewed" bots, ones where you just went "Build/Start, thenScrap" at the Workbench, but I tried that too and it still didn't do anything.

Has anyone found the usage for the "SCRAP" option at the Robot Workbench?
Is it some Command they left in there from an old version and didn't take out or something lol

I would really like to get rid of a robot (without using Console Commands or sending it to another Settlement)...

I have found that I can tell Automatrons to Self-Destruct [not Sentry/Assault Voiced ones though, they give an Error lol], which seems to completely eliminate the bot,solving my issue with 'simply getting rid of an Automatron' - however, I would still like to know if anyone has gotten the SCRAP command at the Robot Workbench to ...work, or if it does something I am not thinking of, so I will leave this Question up [if that is acceptable]. Thanks

you need kill build robots to scrap them!

if you activate the AI subrutines you can command them to self destruct!

both way work: first one works with all, second only those that you gave AI subrutines!

Thank you for your Suggestions, but I tried Building/Completing them, and I tried the Scrap Command while they were being built, still in the Workbench - and neither of those did anything, sadly.... It seem the SCRAP command in the Robot Workbench does nothing lol
