Corvega Assembly Plant attacked by Behemoth?

I was doing a quest and was standing on an overpass, when i looked in the distance and saw a super mutant behemoth chucking boulders at the raiders in the Corvega Assembly Plant. Is this a random event? Or is it a glitch? I have screenshots, but I don't know how to post them...

It happens quite often actually, atleast if you mean the one who charges the front door, if you mean there is one INSIDE the plant then no that shouldn't happen.

I have yet to figure out for sure if it is level based some other factor or really random, but it is the Behemoth from the stacked cars that does the attack, if it wins and you follow it it returns to it's home next to walden pond.

I would say its random, there is a behemoth just north corvega near the super duper,but he mostly is fighting with the gunners in Quincy who are firing mini-nukes. But if corvega got his attention he just might go over there.

Isn't it just a behemoth that's set to spawn in Lexington rather than one that wanders across the map?

There is one that can spawn in the center of Lexington I"m aware of, but the one from the car stone henge has 3 attack locations(I'm fairly certain) that it will wander away from there for, I just don't know what the triggers are, one of those locations is the front doors of coverga, as for the other 2 it wanders north and south for them but I have yet to keep up with it without being spotted so I don't know the destinations.

For the record, it was at the front door. It was just strange to me, cause I've never seen it before now.

Yes.

I remember stabbing it to death with a combat knife crit.

Yes , he always spawn there. If you dont see him it's because he probably got killed.

They don't randomly walk around like other enemys, they are only in specific locations of game, more then likely a nearby enemy got the attention of it is why ya ran into it near corvega, it spawns in the center of lexington

you think that is bad, get "War of the Commonwealth" mod. I have had a glowing behemoth sawn across the river from sanctuary. I used my artillery and 3 settlers with miniguns to take it out. just... dont turn the mod on below level 10.. you will have the hardest fight of your life

One of funniest thing is shot it with low weapon and run in corvega :)

it happens that a strong creature or a group of NPC's got "attracted" by other creatures/group of NPC's. I once witnessed a battle between gunners and raiders on a bridge leading to "poseidon energy" building . I know that bridge because a group of enemy NPC's sits there for taking in toll money. I had to wait off before continuing.

That is one of the reasons of why I like Fallout or TES games.

I've stumbled upon the Behemot on the road connecting Super duper mart to Corvega on some playthroughs, while not on some..maybe it is a level based event idk..but yeah if you assist him in killing the corvega raiders he can reach the Corvega entrance...

With Super Mutants Shall Inherit the Earth mod behemoths are a real force to be reckoned with on a new play through.

Also yes i have seen the Behemoth at the corvega plant once and i was low lvl when it happened and he ambushed me. :)

You can attempt to lead him over to the Corvega plant. That's always sweet when it works.
