Fusion core generators?

When I take fusion cores out of them, do they affect NPCs at all? I avoided taking one from recon bunker theta cause I felt bad for that recon member. Are there any consequences?

Nope, all the generator does is store that specific power core so you're fine.

Yup. The effects of the generator shutting down are only graphical. They dont affect anything.

Another vastly easy immersion point missed by the developers. It should affect local systems under its power. You ought to be able to put cores into empty generators to start them up likewise.

Same way how you can power up the water drainage at excavations, but cant turn it off.
