Nuka World CTD
Okay, a bit of background. I've had all the DLCs for a couple of years. I've done multiple playthroughs with no issues. The last time I played FO4 was maybe 6 months ago. I was just reminded that during that playthrough, I suddenly started having problems with Nukaworld. I'd already finished all the quests and built a settlement at the Red Rocket when I was sent out there to kill a Courser by the Railroad. Suddenly I couldn't get anywhere near the place without a ctd. I couldn't fast travel to any target, I couldn't even approach it on foot. I can get as close as the Lonely Chapel, but if I try to pass it, crash.

I'd forgotten all about that until this fresh playthrough which I've been at a couple of weeks. I'm lvl 58 and I'm just now getting around to doing the Nukaworld content, but when I try to approach, I ctd. After about 10 attempts and even deleting the last mod I'd installed thinking that was somehow the issue, I remembered my problems with my last playthrough.

Anyway, has anyone got any advice for me? I just did the whole 'check the integrity' thing a few days ago because of another issue, so that's not going to help.

actually, i remember being in such a situation. every time i approached the nuka transit area, it crashed. i think there was a mod causing problems when approaching nuka world. vivid maybe? or some settlement mod. something that had to do with building textures. when nuka world was introduced, alot of new models were added, and some mods had conflicts with it. they needed to be either updated or get a nuka-world patch.

try disabling all of your mods and then move to the nuka area.

also, post your system specs here :) when inside steam - help - system information and copy everything over. just to be sure.

Found the solution. Apparently it was KeyNuker. I had the latest version, but there is a specific version to address the Nuka-World bug.
