"$" Icon Problem with def_ui german translation
So there are two circumstances.
1. I got a "$" icon infront of Creation Club in the menus.
2. I delete the translate_de.txt but then i have "$" icons ingame everywhere and other stuff not working properly.

Then a lot of people might say just leave the "$" infront of the Creation Club. Who cares.
But i don't want a mod to do something i haven't asked for. Besides i think the Creation Club is something good, even though i never bought something there.
So is there anyone who can help me here?

It needs the def_ui.dll in the Data\F4SE\Plugins\ Folder and the def_ui_xx.txt Files in the Data\Interface\Translations\ Folder. The File Translate_xx.txt in the Data\Interface\ Folder should be deleted. If you have everything correct installed and the Script Extender is running properly you should see no $ Signs anywhere.

I don't use an item sorting mod, using one can cause trouble and maybe messes things up. Especially because all German Item Sorting Mods i could find are outdated.

Did you try asking the guy that made the mod?

Didn't thought of it. But i will try it now.

$ sign means a missing language string. It migh be a mistake in the transaltion file. Of course it might be intentional as well. I haven't noticed that, because I have hidden whole CC login from my game UI.

I am posting this to point out that translate_de.txt is indeed needed, if you are using DE version of the game and DEF_UI.

Yeah the file is needed. But i think the $ icon infront of the Creation Club is intentional.
But i really don't like it.

You need to Donwload the newest translation Files wich are also on the def_ui Nexus Page and you need the Script Extender. Then delete your translation_xx.txt File in the Interface Folder and extract the new translation Files in the Interface and F4SE Folders. Run the Game with the Script Extender Launcher and enjoy the complete Translation.

Note that the Script Extender disables the Steam Overlay in Fallout 4 and also the Achievements because of that.

That's what i did. :/
It's on purpose. I need to find a translation without that or i need to change the files myself but i have no idea how to do that.

It isn't in translations and I not finding extra mark from original file either. If there is one, then it isn't named as Creation Club, so I might be missing it.
The author of this thread has indicated that this post answers the original topic.

Yeah i am using the same one. I will try to reinstall the translation. And do everything like you said Asmodan. Thanks for the afford.

Yeah! It works now perfectly! I could swear i did that last time and it messed up all my texts ingame. But well now it works! Thanks again! A lot !

You're welcome. :)

The problem with such mods is that they are depending on multiple things. Having f4se updated. Def_ui updated. The translation updated. I just accepted english as the main language. Less issues.

Only thing in DEF_UI that needs updating over F4SE version change is the DLL-file. Choise of language does not matter.
