Can't get advanced body to let me edit :(

I made a great body on my game but somehow it didn't save? Anyway I can't seem to get back into the advanced body menu now and I'm not sure if this is part of Looksmenu or CBBE or something else but even trying to get a surgey won't let me into this advanced menu now. It's driving me crazy please help!

Also note I can't show a naked shot on Steam but the naked body is definitely not even close to what I made in the beginning and I couldn't edit it again when given the chance to exit the vault, but I was pretty immersed at that point and didn't want to restart again.

Did you make sure to batch_build on files before exiting BodySlide ?
I also think that the "body shape" should be set on neutral (the one where you create your character).

I haven't used bodyslide yet, I just wanted to create her body first lol. Also it said it would be launchable from NMM but it's not. I can't find a way to launch it from there at all :(.

in NMM, it is located under "Tools". Or you can just open it from the game folder.

I did check tools. I'm talking about the body I made for myself using the advanced options in the screenshot on character creation by the way :).

That is part of the vanilla LooksMenu. LooksMenu mod enhances it's options. The same triangle is being used.

Looks to me that you were trying to create body in LooksMenu. I think you progressed in the wrong order there.

- First select the CBBE body preset in BodySlide and BatchBuild body and all gear. Make sure that you have installed BodySlide compatible gear (all vanilla comes with CBBE.)

- Then jump in to game and create the body. Otherwise your body will be done for vanilla body, but CBBE preset can change it to look something entirely else.

- You can always store preset in in LooksMenu. That will allow you to pick it up later, if you messed up something.

If you need any help, then we can go this through.

Be vary with NMM. Nexus just officially threw it in to garbage bin and I have removed all tutorials for it from my guides. NMM may leave files out of your mod installations, which might be another reason you are seeing issues. Can't confirm that it has happened (it is unpredictable), but that is one possibility.

Why would it allow me to make my body in the opening scene with the advanced options if that won't make a difference? Also if you look I can't actually make a body, it won't let me into advanced....so after I do this bodyslide thing is it going to let me in? I'll go load bodyslide :D.

Should I switch over to vortex? I saw it had changed a little while ago. Will look into switching soon.

Yeah you want those in there. When you use CBBE to adjust female bodies it adjusts ALL of them.

If you dont adjust all of them with the batch build you could run into a female NPC that the clothes no longer fit the body.
