Earlier in the game when I completed the corvega assembly mission, I overheard the signal starting the mission firesupport.

I did not bother to go there and now I'm thinking about going there, I'm currently level 9. Is it better to wait more before going there ? I read you can get a laser rifle ?

Not that hard of a quest to do unless you're on survival, if it's the latter then just be careful.
Otherwise, go for it.

best to take someone with you, you'll be fighting a lot of feral ghouls when you get there

It's tied to the BoS so if you want to join them then you gotta go. It's not hard, at least the first part.

So there is not any special gain in waitings to complete it later ?

It is realitive easy to do the quest itself (Danse do the work for you), to get there is a bit more problematic. You have to face hordes of ghouls especially if you travel from north there. And there are some mines about which you should take care. Even on a normal difficult those things are letal if you run into one with lv 9. As reward you get a good laser rifle/pistol if you complete this, and an invitation into the BoS.

OK thanks I guess I will wait a little bit before going there. So there is a laser rifle as a giff ? Because of something I read they say :

If one has completed The Nuclear Option in favor of the Commonwealth Minutemen prior to approaching the police station, and remain on amicable terms with the Brotherhood, Danse will instead gift the Sole Survivor his laser rifle and send them on their way.

I usually dont read all stuff on missions but I was so intrigued by the radio signal at first that I did go read about it :D

If you're on a harder difficulty it is possible to get swarmed by Ferals. But you can also make things easier on yourself by approaching from the west of Cambridge. Then during the fight you quickly jump onto some of the concrete walls next to the station. The Ferals cannot get up there, so you have an open shooting gallery as they instead go for Danse. It also gives you good sight lines if you want to throw Molotovs at the two barricade openings, forcing the Ghouls to burn as they approach.

Also, sometimes enemy patrols can spawn south-ish of the station, and might be attracted by the noise. Worse case scenario, a Super Mutant Suicider decides to join the party. That's rare though.

Ok thanks. But its seems it's one of the last missions...is it really worth it to delay the mission until the end of the game...seems not to me...so do you get the rifle just to complete the mission, or you need to complete ''The Nuclear Option'' before ?

No after helped dense clease out the attacking ghouls, he ask you to help him. You go with him to an old factory to recover some communication high tech stuff. After this you should get the rifle. The other part, where you seek several vanished BoS members comes after and are more challenge. The factory is only occupied by low lv synth, and danse is with you, he kills those things for you, you can play passiv this mission. Bonus all those synth gives fusionscells, so you will have some ammunition for your rifle.
