Regi Blattaria ... I hate you Bethesda :)
Well ... That was a nasty surprise.

Never heard of him or saw him before. If you are not playing survival you have no need to walk down that road, you just fast travel past him. I think I did a whole 10% damage to him before I died. :steamfacepalm:

I am level 34 and I just walked right up to his 'lair' without looking because I thought that whole area is just empty.

Now I know that radscorpian steak and radstag stew will stack for the energy resistance. But it did not help much. At least I now have a gatling laser of my very own.

First time I encountered him I died to. Now I lay mines, aggro him and draw him down to Gray Garden if I am not leveled up enough to outright take him on my own.

He's a tough fight, especially for a low-level survivor or melee build.

I always save before fighting him and try to engage from a distance (usually a stealth kill from behind with a sniper rifle~ Cloak & Dagger + Killshot + sneak attack multipliers= pretty much insta-death).

Yeah he spawns the first time the cell is loaded after level 30 or so. There is quite a few mobs that only spawn at higher levels in the Concord/Lexington area. Sentry bots and the behemoth.

If you think he is tough, should try fighting him when hes using a legendary minigun or gatling laser (which hes got a high chance of having.)

Those five rad roaches spawning with him are not the tickling kind either.
