Fallout 4 DLC not downloading (Not enough free disk space) SORTED
So I decided to get some Fallout 4 DLC and basically I deleted some junk off my PC so I would have plenty of memory (Currently on 300 plus GB) This Fallout download is 60 plus GB so why does it say I don't have enough free disk space when really I have more than enough?

60gb is nothing and very low for your pc performance needs, your pc needs quite a few gb's for workspace / page file etc more for power games.

Try reducing the page file size a little and cleaning most of the system restore files to free up space

Still its odd its complaining when you have 300gb spare, I could download when I had 100gb spare, I can still download when I have 60gb. (I just did it)

What size is your HDD? It is a good rule of thumb to keep at least 10% of your HDD free.

300gb was his size not how much space he had left

Eh? No you are reading it wrong, that is not what he said, he said he has 300+gb, the fallout download is only 60gb, so it should let him download.

If you have multiple drives in your system make sure you freed up necessary space on the drive that Fallout 4 is installed on. It won't matter if your main drive has 300GB free if the game is installed on a second drive and you only have 20GB free there.

To check where Steam is installed go to the top left of your screen in the Steam UI:

Click Steam > Settings > Downloads > Steam Library Folders

Upon installing a game, you can choose where to install Steam or where it should read if upgrading computer/connecting a drive, etc.

Cheers everyone i've sorted it now. Basically I think I confused Steam because I had so much Fallout 4 stuff downloading at once so i just unticked all my DLC and downloaded them all seperately at a different time and everything downloaded smoothly. i also deleted some junk I didn't use anymore as well.
