what am I supposed to do for DiMA's memories?
the game refuses to explain anything, I got the texture pack radroaches to the yellow beam, and eliminated all of the rings, and deployed some turrets. However, it's telling me that I need to build turrets and it's saying I only made it to 20%. what is going on (I'm guessing after I get the rings I have to lead them back, please confirm.)

Yes all the way back. Look on youtube for that title - a very good walkthru is there. I can't remember if it is a yellow ring (target) but yes - deploy turrets and get them back.

Thanks, but may I add, this mission is buggy as all hell and it's tedious to the point of tears. (but I mean gotta get that marine armor somehow amirite)
I remember everyone complaining about how hard these were, but I thought they were incredibly easy. I guess I'm just a big brained nibba(tm)

Of course, I ran into no bugs doing it, but that's the virtue of playing vanilla and it sounds like you got some bugs on your end if the little skitter/indexers aren't returning to their home point.

Try checking your code blocks to make sure you've got clean paths, try to make them 2blocks wide if possible so Bethesda' Perfect Pathfinding(tm) doesn't freak out.

Ok I'm on the right track, it was just hard to actually figure out what I was supposed to do. On the second memory and it's feeling more like an actual puzzle and not a battle against the bugs. (also I'm playing without mods, I guess i'm just stupid cause I want a green marker on every step lol)

Yeah, I'm almost done with 3. They're not so bad at this point, but I'm scared that the children of atom will get agrro'd to me. I really hope not, I drank from their spring and I wanna be a part of their murder cult. (evil character is evil >:3)

Update: Just finished number four, I can taste the marine armor at this moment.

I HAVE BEEN DOING NUMBER 5 FOR AN HOUR HELP

Yeah, Number 5 is busy work, the only real "Trick" for Number 5 is during the last step where you're trying to get the beam to the decoder. it's hard to describe, but the last section where the beam is shooting UP from the floor, after you recover the relays available, you have to GO DOWN, and use a relay to shoot the beam from lower than the spot used to decode the previous firewall.

Then use another relay to direct it around the entry point, and finally, one more relay to hit the decoder.

Also, recover as many Code Blocks as you can, as you'll have to make lots of bridges.

The Marine Armor is ♥♥♥♥ btw, not even legendary, Discarded/NPC'd

I wish they had at least given the whole set you recover like Bolstering effect, which is cool but not OP IMO.

By the time you do the 4th memory you're thinking this isn't that hard, and than you get to #5 and it's a wtf moment. It definitely makes you think....and curse...and think some more......than curse some more lol.

And than you get the lousy marine armor which is no better than anything with max ballistic weave, but it weighs a ton more. Yeah, it looked kind of cool but not worth it for the carry weight hit you have to take.

Well it's an alternative to ballistic weave (I actually ran a discussion on how to get it because I was in the brotherhood) And I don't really mind the carryweight, it's got good defense and it's relatively easy to get. (plus I look like an armored scuba diver)

It can also be an addition to ballistic weave, since a handful of clothes that can accept ballistic weave can be worn underneath armour (though a hat with ballistic weave is far better than a helmet, in terms of protection).

Some of the armour from Nuka World gangs offers slightly better protection, but the marine armour includes radiation resistance, so they're about even in that regard (but the gang armour can turn up as random legendary items, while the marine armour only has a few specific legendary pieces).

i know i'm late, but the final level requires a total of 7 decoder relays to properly do it as intended. however the max you get are 6 of them. so you have to places all 5 turrets on the ground in front of the wall and wait it out, run around pretending you'll find the 7th falling off the map a few times, or hit escape and tab out to read a forum and when you come back the wall will be gone (1 hour later) getting past the broken final level. i searched for over a hour covered 100% of the level and couldn't find a 7th decoder relay, and how the block height is set up, you need 7 to hit it correctly.... but there is only 6 of them bastards in the level.
