Starting a new game won't load?

Basically when I hit new game it won't load the new game, I am using a ♥♥♥♥ ton of mods, around 100/

Same problem for me. Current build 1.10.111 and I'm using F4SE 0.6.12. I've disabled all of my mods. I select "New" and the loading symbol in the lower right corner starts flashing. Then the screen goes black with the loading sysmbol still flashing. Then it stops and I'm in an infinite load loop.

I'm running 1.10.114 (or whatever the ♥♥♥♥ the latest is) and have already updated all my mods that needed it, I'm running 111 mods right now and it never goes past the main menu, I'll get some pop ups telling me mods were activated and then it doesn't do anything.

There could be mods that are conflicting and causing errors in turn not being able to load your game, i have had times where i've run so many mods my game cant open or load. So perhaps try getting rid of some mods you do not want?

do you actually own the game in your library ? if not then thats the cause:P
pirated version are not supported!

There is an option in Privacy settings to hide your games, so people can't see your games and hours

only a way to proof that he is fishy and actually might use pirated game..
otherwise no real reason to hide games unless you want to hide your dark meddelings...

since steam now cares even less,
its no suprise.. about that development

just harder to know if they actually own a game...
so only able to help under the guise of that they own it...

like everything reality is all in our heads......
depending how much we trust our senses,
since the senses are easily fooled.

It doesn't matter if he owns it or not, im sure he if he did not own the game he would not be looking for technical support for it. And it's everyone's right to decide what is shown about them

The OP does own the game. When you are on any game's forum and post there, there is a mouse icon next to the player's screen name that tells others that player owns the game.

OP, it is possible that you have a mod that cannot be active when you start a new game. There are a few mods that can't be activated until you leave vault 111. The mod "Gnome Apocalypse" is one of them. There are others but, I can't provide any list of them.

I suggest disabling all mods that are not character creation mods then try starting a new game again.

From what I've readed, mods that give you items from the start of the game, conflicting, so it won't load. My solution: Start new game without mods(disable all plugins if you use NMM or Vortex), save game, exit FO4, re-enable all mods, start FO4, load save game. Works for me all the time.

Alright, I'll disable all my mods, s tart the game then load back in with the mods and see if that works.

thank god i created a save just before exiting vault 111 at my very first playthrough
