CBBE Bodies Not Updating In Game
I recently installed CBBE via the NMM following the instructions for Gopher vids. The problem I'm having is despite CBBE showing up as an active mods and even disabling achievements, the body is not updating. I can see in Explorer that the files are being updated per the date change, but there's no change in game. I had no problems setting CBBE up for Skyrim but FO4 is another matter entirely. Any help would be appreciated.

That video shows you everything you need to do.
Did you enable modding in the ini files? Is CBBE the only mod which isn't working for you?

I've watched Gopher's vid a half dozen times. It's very informative but doesn't solve my problem.

Are you referring to the extra lines that go in the Fallout4Custom.ini? If so yes I have. I don't have any other mods installed beyond CBBE.

which edits did you have done + did you check the Data folder yourself to see that both meshes and textures are there? NMM is sometimes wonky with dragging over loose files.

If the body is not updating in game after you apply the body to the female.nif file then you are changing the wrong female.nif file.

I found the nif file in two different mesh folder/subfolder locations. I had thought that was something I did on my end so I did not emntion it to try and prevent confusion.

You can also do a search *.nif which will bring up all the file locations.

You gotta add the lines to the fallout4prefs ini, not custom.

Eh I'll try it since it's unlikely to hurt anything but that's not the file mentioned in the install instructions. Thanks for the suggestion.

There are two locations where the femalebody.nif is stored one is in the Fallout 4 Steam folder, the other is in NMM Virtual Install Folder. When I build a new body both files update.
