Similar mod, not 'the' mod.
After seeing that this guy discovered that AWKCR was the problem, I remembered there being an optional patch for Power Armour mods included in AWKCR, it simply solves this problem, but obviously its optional because it;
1. May not be required for the mods you use and
2. More patches means a more cluttered load order, meaning PC's that are not Tanks can start to struggle.
So the soloution is to install the optional patch with AWKCR (I have given a more indepth explanation in the last paragraph of this post).
On the note of the argument between the two over how mods apparently work, I'm going to toss my ownpart into this. Nexus is a 3rd party and has no obligatoin to make sure it's mods work with the mods from Bethesda's CC mods, or any of the mods within the Nexus, you could Download and install to random PA mods from the Nexus and have issues until you install a patch made to make them work together. This is because anyone can upload a mod to nexus and it doesnt actually need to work, nor does it need to work with other mods, and most independant modders are lazy and overlook things like this.
Bethesda's CC is different however, instead of modding the game, Bethesda's CC works just like the DLC, and guess what, Mod's from third party sites like Nexus can conflict with DLC's. Because the mods on Bethesda's CC work this way, they will almost never ever conflict with each other, they are tested before release to ensure they work with all the current mods on the CC, as this is required by law because of how they advertise the CC mod's in the first place. Bethesda has no affiliatoin with Nexus mods, or the people who create the mod's there, yes it might be where they recruited some of their original CC team from, but that means nothing in this topic. The people who make the mods for CC get pais simplyt to make them work with the game and the other CC mods, nothing more and nothing less.
So with that all said, if you have Modded a bethesda game, with mods from Nexus or any other site, then add a mod from Bethesda's CC to the load order, and suddenly there is issues, it is not the fault of Bethesda, and in all reality it is not the fault of the modder on Nexus either. It is the fault of the player, who did not use the appropriate programs and tools to test for conflictions and ensure that everything in their load order would work in tandem with one another without issue.
Also the way that the on guy used the word scam to describe Bethesda's CC, is completely wrong, a scam is when you pay for a product or service, and you either recieve said product/service, but it is not as described, or you don't recieve it at all, and when you attempt to contact the company/seller about it you are either refused help becasue of some loophole they are exploiting, or the company/seller no longer seems to exist anywhere. In short they sell you something knowing fine well that what they say they are selling is not what they are really selling.
There is actually a prime example of a Scam in Fallout 4, if you look up Parker Quinn and his Charge Cards, he literally trys to scam you out of a few hundred caps for a Card that he claims will work just like our Credit/Debit Cards at any wasteland trader, but the moment you ask a trader about it, they tell you that its a scam and a lie and to get your money back becasue they are simply just lumps of plastic as far as they are concerned...
Anyway. If you use ANY POWER ARMOUR MOD from Bethesda's Creation Club, AND you have AWKCR (Armor and Weapon Keywords Community Resource) installed, ensure you have the 'AWKCR - Power Armor Engine Glitch Fix' selected on installation of the mod, if you are unsure you have enabled it, simply reinstall the mod from scratch and make sure to tick the box for it.
Remember, War Never Changes,
The Sen Dog, Out.
Unless an armor mod is written to work with AWKCR it will need a patch to do so. True for CC items and mods
Some mods provide two versions on for AWKCR and one without it. Some mods require AWKCR to work
