Should Idiot Savant be the first thing to max out if you have low intelligence?

Is it recommended to max out Idiot Savant early on?

Do you want to level fast early on and hear my favorite sound over and over? Also intelligence don't really matter unless it's between 5-7 .

I did not like it. So installed a mod that replaces it with nothing. No level up sounds. The UI thing is sufficient.

Meh, never been fan of this perk. I don't know if it's really worth missing a few cool intelligence perks for a low % XP proc.

As someone who puts there INT to 1 because I hate leveling up fast, I never understood the appeal of this perk.

Just save scum it with Quick save until it procs on Quest Turn-Ins.

having high level in survival mode makes it easy :P

If possible; I get the first idiot savant perk. But I do not do that save/load shizzle to get that perk effect when receiving quest exp. Too much cheating. I like to get an occassional exp bonus as a surprise.

If you go with Idiot Savant only get the 1st 2 ranks. The 3rd rank breaks it in a bad way.

Okay I did some research and this is by far the best perk to max out ASAP, at least up to second rank, especially if you have low INT.
